One of the most important rules in teaching English Language Learners is to avoid idioms.
Today we were talking about Ricky Martin and how he is homosexual.
I said, "Yeah, he came out of the closet last year".
"Miss.....what's 'coming out of the closet'?"
Haha! Good gem from today.
