La nouvelle stresse?

After re-opening my box of DVDs, I put in an old favorite, Amelie. I'm losing my French, sadly, it seems, but I love it just the same.

I've been re-opening many boxes this week--both cardboard and figurative--during our painfully drawn-out moving process that began June 13th.

Ever since my last posting, life has been nonstop, whether it be for better or worse.

Birthday, packing, Halloween, decorating....all in conjunction with working around 45 hours per week (a nudge beyond full time!)

You know those times when you are so busy, you feel fulfilled in a "being useful" sense? OK, I got that...but my emotional and physical health have been a bit on the breaks....and I can't even keep my toenails polished sufficiently!

Unfortunately, H and I have been having a few more skirmishes than usual, and I can't really tell if it's situational, or brought on by my exhaustion...

I pushed really hard for a "reset" and "replenish" day, and it just brought about a fight and more work than actual work days. (Got woken up early, garage sale, buying/carting furniture...which took 5 hours...and then when I'm exhausted, he still goes out...whatever).

Yes, so that is my mood!

Even when I'm supposed to be relaxing, I want to do yoga and read a self-help relax book.

God, I have it all wrong!

And a reason why I will continue this blog is encapsulated concisely in this quote:

"we write to taste life twice, in the moment and in retrospect."

OH! That quote used to be on my website!

And I can relate to the skirmish situation. I find that it's hard to be in transition (in many transitions...) and have to work that out with yourself as well as another human being. It's just so difficult sometimes.
